My Virtual Cookbook: Chicken Pesto Pasta

Three of my favorite items all rolled up into one! I absolutely love italian food so it’s no surprise that this item is a regular at the Aranibar casa. With very few ingredients it isn’t hard to whip up during the week at a moment’s notice. 

Ingredients: (Serves 2-3)

1/2 container of Buitoni Reduced Fat Basil Pesto

1/2 Box of whole wheat penne

1 lb cooked chicken breasts (my recipe for these)

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions:

Bake the seasoned chicken breasts on 425* for approximately 30 minutes.

While the chicken is baking, boil and drain 1/2 the box of pasta.

Once the chicken and pasta are done throw them in a bowl mix it all together with the pesto!

 Pretty easy huh? Don’t forget to top it off with parmesan or romano cheese. Delicioso!
