Neighborhood Snapshots: Hollywood Park & Hill Country Village

One of the most lovely and relaxing areas of San Antonio in my opinion is in Hollywood Park and Hill Country Village. With the mature oaks and tree lined streets filled with white tail deer it’s hard not to feel like you’ve left San Antonio when you drive down Voigt or Tower Drive. This area boasts large lots, beautiful trees, older homes with a great deal of charm and convenient access to north and central San Antonio.

Infrastructure:

According to the 2000 census there are about 4000 people that make up the two communities. The combined area encompasses about 3.7 square miles and just over 1500 homes. Both towns offer their own police department, maintenance and animal control. The towns were incorporated in 1955 and 1956.

Conveniences:

The largest convenience of living in one of these areas is the ease of access to both 1604 and 281. The location is ideal for commuting to work as it provides access to two major highways without dealing with the headache of the interchange.

Education:

Both areas are served by North East Independent School District. Students will attend Hidden Forrest Elementary, Bradley Middle School and Churchill High School.
